Becoming certified in Reiki Level 1 is the foundational step into the world of energy healing, focusing primarily on self-healing and physical well-being. During this initial phase, the practitioner undergoes a series of "attunements," which are spiritual processes meant to clear the energy centers (chakras) and align the student with the universal life force energy. You will learn the history of Reiki, the hand positions for treating yourself and others, and how to feel and direct energy. By the end of this certification, you will have gained the ability to channel Reiki energy through your hands, providing a tool for stress reduction and holistic balance that stays with you for a lifetime.
 
Being certified in Reiki 1 means you have been initiated into the lineage of the Usui System of Natural Healing. It signifies that you have moved beyond simply reading about energy and have become a "vessel" for it, capable of assisting the body’s natural healing processes. As a Reiki Master Teacher, Bonnie holds the highest level of training within the practice, having mastered the advanced symbols and the intricate process of passing attunements to others. This mastery reflects years of dedicated practice and an understanding of the subtle energy body, allowing her to provide a grounded, professional environment for students to safely explore their own healing abilities and spiritual growth.
